How it works
- One person opens Host a Game on their phone and casts it to the TV.
- Everyone else scans the QR code on screen with their own phone.
- Each player sees only their own private cards; the TV shows the shared table.
- If your phone locks or you lose connection, rejoin with your seat and you're back in.
FAQ
Do players need to download anything?
No. Everyone just opens the page in their phone browser and scans the QR code on the host's screen. No app, no account, no signup.
Can other players see my cards?
No. The deck never leaves the host phone. Each player's two hole cards go only to that player over a direct WebRTC connection.
What if someone's phone locks mid-hand?
Their seat and stack are remembered. When they reopen the page they rejoin the same seat and continue the hand.
Does the host phone need to stay awake?
Yes. The page requests a screen wake lock automatically. If you cast it to a TV the tab stays in the foreground and the lock stays active.
Can I host without casting to a TV?
Yes. The host phone alone works — pass it around on each player's turn, or just use it as a shared table.
