The AI model (~16 MB) downloads once, then runs on your device.

🔒 Everything runs on your device — nothing is uploaded, saved, or sent anywhere.

How it works

Tap Use Camera (mobile) or Upload a Photo. A neural network called MobileNet — a compact image classifier trained on 1.4 million photos across 1,000 categories like animals, food, vehicles and household items — analyzes your image right in the browser and shows the top 5 guesses with confidence scores.

Good to know

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The AI model runs entirely on your device. Your photo never leaves your phone or computer.

What can it recognize?

About 1,000 everyday categories — dogs, cats, birds, food, fruit, vehicles, furniture, tools, electronics and more. It gives its top 5 best guesses with confidence percentages.

How accurate is it?

Clear, close-up photos of a single object work best. It's a general-purpose classifier, not an expert — for rare objects or similar-looking species it may guess a close relative of the right answer.

Does it need internet?

Only the first time — to download the ~16 MB model. After that it's cached and works offline.

Does it cost anything?

No. Free, no sign-up, no limits.
