How it works
Type a child's name, pick an age (2–4, 5–7, or 8–10), pick an animal hero, and pick a lesson — then press Write the story. A fresh story is assembled from curated templates, scaled to the age tier. Press Read aloud to hear it with a soft chime, roar, hoot, or yawn at the right moment.
FAQ
Is my child's data safe?
Yes — everything runs in your browser. Names are never sent anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.
How do the stories get made?
Each story is assembled from hand-written templates — one per age tier per lesson. The story is "new" because the template chosen, the variant beats, and the animal hero are all picked fresh every time.
Which ages is this for?
Three age tiers: 2–4 (short, simple sentences), 5–7 (full paragraphs), and 8–10 (richer language and more reflection). All three teach the same lesson beat.
Does Read Aloud work offline?
Yes. It uses your browser's built-in speech synthesis and small Web Audio sound effects — no network needed after the page loads.
Why is my Read-Aloud voice robotic?
Try the "Narrator voice" dropdown — your device may have several voices installed (Natural, Google, Enhanced, etc.). Pick the best-sounding one and the tool remembers it.
