How this tip calculator works

Tip = bill × tip%. Total = bill + tip. Split evenly, each person pays total ÷ people — with an optional round-up so you're not fumbling for coins. Common practice: 15% for standard service, 18–20% for good service, 10% for basic service (customs vary by country).
