Free CSV Analyzer
Slopbin Data Lab is a free CSV analyzer that runs entirely in your browser. Drop in a sales report, an employee roster, a survey export, climate data โ any CSV โ and it immediately profiles every column, computes real statistics, finds correlations, flags outliers, charts your distributions and writes plain-English insights about what the numbers show. There is no account, no upload and no processing server: the analysis happens on your own device.
Analyze CSV Files Online
Because the analysis is local, there is nothing to configure and nothing to wait for. The workflow is simple: drop a file, read the results, build a chart if you want a different view, filter down to the rows you care about, and export whatever you need. It works with files from Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, most databases and virtually every data-export tool on the internet.
What Can You Analyze?
- Statistics โ mean, median, quartiles, variance and standard deviation for every numeric column.
- Distributions โ histograms and box plots that show how values spread, including outliers.
- Correlations โ Pearson relationships between numeric columns, with the strongest pairs highlighted.
- Trends โ automatic line charts when your data contains dates.
- Categories โ frequency breakdowns of text columns.
- Outliers โ IQR-based detection with a dedicated explorer.
- Missing data โ a per-column missing-value census and an easy way to isolate incomplete rows.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my CSV uploaded?
No. Your file is read with the browser's own file API and processed on your device. It is never sent to Slopbin or anywhere else โ you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and everything still works.
Does this work offline?
Yes. Once the page is loaded there are no network calls at all โ no external scripts, fonts or chart libraries. Everything, including the downloadable report, is generated locally.
What CSV files are supported?
Standard comma-separated files, plus semicolon- and tab-delimited files. Quoted values, commas inside quotes, multiline quoted fields, empty cells and duplicate headers are all handled. UTF-8 with or without a BOM is detected automatically.
Can I analyze large CSV files?
Yes. Large datasets are analyzed with typed-array column caches, the table is paginated, search is debounced, and charts sample very large series for rendering while your underlying data stays intact.
Can I create charts?
Yes โ the app generates useful charts automatically, and the visualization builder lets you map any column to X axis, Y axis, color and size across scatter, line, bar, histogram, box plot and area charts. You can drag column cards into place or just use the dropdowns.
Can I export my results?
You can export the filtered dataset as CSV or JSON, download any chart as PNG or SVG, and generate a complete self-contained HTML report with statistics, correlations, insights, charts, missing data and outliers.
Can I find correlations?
Yes. Every pair of numeric columns is tested with the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the results are shown as a ranked list and a full color-coded matrix.
Can I find outliers?
Yes. Outliers are detected with the interquartile-range method โ values beyond 1.5 ร IQR from the quartiles โ and the outlier explorer lists them per column with a "view rows" shortcut.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Cards stack, charts resize, the table scrolls horizontally, and the drag-and-drop builder has a full dropdown fallback so it's usable with touch alone.
Is the tool free?
Completely free, with no sign-up and no limits. Your browser does all the work, so there's no server cost to pass on to you.
