Angle mode: · Supported: + − × ÷, powers, square roots, sin, cos, tan, log₁₀, ln, π and e.

How to use the scientific calculator

Enter a mathematical expression and press Calculate or Enter. Examples include 2^10, sqrt(144), sin(30), log(1000), and (15/100)*850.

Degrees and radians

Trigonometric functions use degrees by default because that is common for everyday calculations. Switch to radians when working with calculus, programming, or mathematical formulas expressed in radians.

Calculation safety

This calculator evaluates only a controlled mathematical expression grammar. It does not execute arbitrary JavaScript code.
