How Gesture Blackboard Works
Set up the board. Open this page in your TV's browser (or a laptop/mini-PC connected to the TV), tap "Be the Board", and note the room code shown.
Point your phone. Open the same page on your phone, tap "Be the Hand", type in the matching room code, and allow camera access. The phone's camera does the tracking — nothing extra to install.
Draw with your finger. Extend one finger toward the camera to draw chalk strokes in the air. Open your whole hand and wave it over a section to erase it.
Watch it cast live. Your phone streams the tracked board straight to the TV over your local WiFi using WebRTC — no cloud storage, no account.

Do I need to install an app?
No — it runs entirely in the browser on both the phone and the TV.
Does this work without internet?
Camera tracking and drawing run fully on-device. Connecting the two screens uses a small public signaling step (PeerJS) to introduce them, then video flows directly over your WiFi.
Why can't I tell if my hand is being tracked?
The phone screen shows your live camera feed with a skeleton overlay on top of the chalkboard tint — yellow means it sees a drawing gesture, red means erase, faint white means idle.
How many people can draw at once?
Up to four hands are tracked simultaneously, so two people can draw side by side.
