Majority Vote — FAQ

How many players can join a Majority Vote room?

Up to around a dozen phones work comfortably. Each player joins with the room code or QR link; the host controls the game from a laptop or TV.

Does Majority Vote cost anything?

No — Majority Vote is completely free. There are no accounts, no downloads and no game database; everything runs in your browser over WebRTC.

Do we need to be on the same WiFi to play?

Usually yes. Majority Vote uses WebRTC peer-to-peer connections, which work best when everyone is on the same network. Some network setups (strict NAT) can block connections.

What question categories are included?

Funny, Personal, Opinion, This or That, Trivia, Space, Facts and Wild Card — you pick which categories and how many questions before starting.

How does scoring work?

Players who pick the majority answer earn big points (500 if one answer wins outright, 350 on a tie). Trivia and fact questions also give a 250-point bonus for the correct answer.
