How it works
Each letter and number maps to a sequence of dots and dashes. This tool converts your text to that sequence, then plays it back using your phone's vibration motor — a short buzz for a dot, a buzz three times as long for a dash, with silent gaps in between that follow standard Morse timing. The dot above pulses in sync so you can also watch the rhythm, not just feel it.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't vibration work on my phone?
The Vibration API only works on Android Chrome and similar browsers — iPhone Safari doesn't support it, though translation and the visual pulse still work.
What timing standard is used?
Standard Morse ratios: a dash is 3x a dot, gaps between symbols equal 1 dot, between letters 3 dots, between words 7 dots.
Can I convert Morse back to text?
Yes — switch to the Morse → Text tab and type dots/dashes separated by spaces, with / between words.
