This people counter uses AI computer vision to detect visible people through your device camera. You can also upload a photo. Detected people are outlined and the current total is shown beside the viewer.

Privacy and limitations
After the AI model loads, detection happens in your browser. The tool does not require an account or server-side video processing. Accuracy can decrease when people overlap, are partially hidden, very small, blurry, or poorly lit.

How does the people counter work?
It uses an AI object detection model in your browser and counts detections classified as people.
Can I count people from a photo?
Yes. Select Upload Image to analyze a still image.
Does it record my camera?
The browser supplies the camera stream after permission is granted. A server upload is not required for detection.
Why did it miss someone?
Occlusion, overlap, distance, motion blur, unusual angles and poor lighting can reduce detection accuracy.
