How it works

1. Create a roomOpen Remote Touchpad on your computer and click Create Room. A QR code appears.
2. Scan the QRScan it with your phone camera. The touchpad opens in the phone's browser instantly.
3. Take controlSwipe to move the cursor, tap to click, scroll with two fingers — and type with the miniature keyboard.

What you get

Try it in the built-in sandbox

The computer screen shows a mini desktop with icons, a draggable window and a slide deck — plus any text field you focus. Move the cursor, open the notepad and type from your phone, or flip the slides with the arrow keys. It's the fastest way to feel the trackpad working.

Heads-up: browsers can't move the operating-system cursor outside their own window, so Remote Touchpad controls everything inside the computer's browser tab — presentations, text fields and the sandbox. Full desktop control needs a native helper app, which is outside what a website can do.

How do I use my phone as a mouse for my computer?

Open Remote Touchpad on the computer, click Create Room, and scan the QR code with your phone. The touchpad opens immediately and connects directly to the computer.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Both devices just need a browser — nothing to install, no account, no sign-up.

Does it work without internet?

You need internet for the short handshake. After connecting, all cursor and keyboard data flows directly between your two devices.

Can it control the mouse outside the browser window?

No web page can move the OS cursor outside its own window — that's a browser security rule. Remote Touchpad controls everything inside the computer's browser tab. See the note above.

Is my connection private?

Yes. Data travels over an encrypted WebRTC DataChannel straight between your phone and computer. A free public broker is used only to introduce the two devices.
